J'ai passe un peu plus de trois semaines au Cambodge. C'est la que j'ai passe le plus de temps a velo et pour ca mon experience la bas etait tres speciale. Passer la nuit dans des petits villages et essayer de communiquer avec les gens etait un challenge tres interessant. C'etait genial d'apprendre le Khmer un peu plus tous les jours. C'etait tres gratifiant d'avoir reussi a negocie la vente de mon velo entierement en Cambodgien.
Ma semaine a Phnom Penh etait vraiment la meilleur facon de demarrer mon sejour et je le remercie encore une fois. Rester a Phnom Penh aurait surement ete sans interet sans lui. Je ne m'attendais pas un rencontrer un Cambodgien tres sympa en visitant les temples et plus tard partager une soupe de serpent avec lui.
Mais ce qui explique surement pourquoi j'ai tant aime le Cambodge, ca doit etre le Cha Cha Cambodgien et le Reggaeton Cambodgien. De la musique latine Cambodgienne!
Je ne sais pas quel rating Standard & Poor donne au Cambodge mais pour moi c'est sans hesitation un triple AAA.
I spent a bit more than three weeks in Cambodia. Most of my bicycle trip was in this country, so it was a very unique experience. I loved staying in small remote villages and try to converse with the Cambodians. I really enjoyed trying to learn some Khmer and picking up more and more as I went. I was really proud to be able to negotiate the sell of my bike without using an English word.
I loved staying in Phnom Penh with Kompheak and I can not thank him enough. My stay in Phnom Penh might have been dull without him. I did not expect to meet a really nice Cambodian student in Siem Riep and to eat snake soup with him.
But the reason why I loved Cambodia so much might actually be the Cambodian/Latin music: Cambodian Cha cha and Cambodian Reggaeton.
I don't know what ratings Standard & Poor gave to Cambodia but for me it is without any doubt a triple AAA.
